Changes to LloydsPharmacy services
The demand for pharmacy services has rapidly increased due to the on-going Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
To help us manage this demand and serve our communities the medicines they need we have changed the opening hours of our stores. These changes will minimise disruption to prescription services and give our healthcare teams the time they need to serve our communities safely.
- Stores will open an hour later than usual, which for many stores will be 10am
- Stores will close for the last hour of the day, which is typically between 5pm - 6pm, however stores with late opening will differ
- Stores will also close between 1pm – 2pm to enable the healthcare teams to have a scheduled break
LloydsPharmacy has also reviewed the number of pharmacies that are open over the weekend, and in order to help better control the demand for prescriptions. They've taken the decision to close a few select stores from 28th March 2020 on Saturday and Sunday until further notice. Click here to see stores.
Please note these hours are subject to change and circumstance in each pharmacy.
Our priority is ensuring we can safely supply the vital medications our customers need, and social distancing is now something we need to introduce in to our pharmacies to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Customers will need to stand 2 metres apart in-store and whilst queuing, pharmacies will also only be able to have 2 customers in-store at any one time. Both of these measures are for the safety of you and our colleagues.
We'd like to thank all our customers for their patience during this very busy and difficult time. We are continuously reviewing the way we serve our customers as Government advice is updated. Our priority is ensuring we can safely continue to supply the vital medications our customers need, and social distancing is now something we need to introduce into our pharmacies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
