Changes to LloydsPharmacy services
Updated 12th April 2021 - for the most up to date coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance and information, please visit the NHS or government’s dedicated pages. This advice may differ in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The demand for pharmacy services has rapidly increased due to the on-going Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
As of 1st June 2020, the majority of LloydsPharmacy stores will be operating their normal opening hours. Please check with your local pharmacy for updates and changes.
LloydsPharmacy reviewed the number of pharmacies that are open over the weekend, and in order to help better control the demand for prescriptions. Select stores from 28th March 2020 will be closed on Saturday and Sunday until further notice.
Please note these hours are subject to change and circumstance in each pharmacy.
Our priority is ensuring we can safely supply the vital medications our customers need, and social distancing is now something we need to introduce in to our pharmacies to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Customers will need to stand two metres apart in-store and whilst queuing. This measure is for the safety of our colleagues. Find out more.
To help protect you and our colleagues we are encouraging contactless payment in-store. Please use this payment option when you can.
To ensure that everyone in our pharmacies feel safe and protected from COVID-19, we ask that our customers and patients follow the new mandatory government advice that face coverings are compulsory in shops and supermarkets from Friday 24th July 2020 in England. This is already a requirement in Scotland.
We'd like to thank all our customers for their patience during this very busy and difficult time. We are continuously reviewing the way we serve our customers as Government advice is updated. Our priority is ensuring we can safely continue to supply the vital medications our customers need, and social distancing is now something we need to introduce into our pharmacies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
