The first step is to find out what triggers your migraines. These triggers may include a lack of sleep, hunger or high-stress levels. Certain foods or drinks may also trigger an attack.
Once you know what these triggers are, you can start to make changes to your lifestyle. One way of doing this is to keep a headache diary. We have created one, especially for our patients, which is free to download.
Making small changes to better look after your wellbeing can also have a big impact on reducing your migraines.
