The pack also needs to reach our laboratory within 4 days of providing your urine sample.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe test kit contains all the information and equipment you will need to safely collect these samples at home. You require a face-to-face assessment at your local sexual health clinic or GP.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you have recently tested positive for an STI, you should contact the service that did this test for further advice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eWhat the test is for\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese kits test for chlamydia, gonorrhoea and trichomoniasis. Only test yourself with this kit if you do NOT have any symptoms.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you are unsure whether you need this test, you can take our free STI assessment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eHow accurate is a chlamydia, gonorrhoea \u0026amp; trichomoniasis test?\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease note, no test is 100% accurate but it should pick up these STIs if it is done at the correct time. If you are in any doubt, we advise that you go to your nearest sexual health clinic or visit your GP.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhen to take a chlamydia, gonorrhoea \u0026amp; trichomoniasis test\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe recommend doing the test two weeks after the unprotected sex. Tests done earlier than this may not be accurate for chlamydia and gonorrhoea. Trichomoniasis results are more accurate a week after you’ve been exposed to the infection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHowever, if you think you might have chlamydia, gonorrhoea or trichomoniasis, you can test immediately and repeat the test two weeks after having sex (you will need to purchase 2 test kits for this).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eAccessing results\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTest results are normally ready within 3 working days of your sample arriving at our partner laboratory.
