Your antibody level is the number of antibodies in your blood. If you test positive this can be anything from 0.8-2500+. The level of antibodies can suggest your body’s response to either the virus or vaccine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs COVID-19 is still a fairly new virus, we don’t know yet what the significance is of each value or whether your immune response is high or low, whether it can change with time, or how long you might have it for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eTest accuracy\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe test has specificity of 98.8% and a sensitivity of 99.8%.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis means that:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOut of 1000 people tested, 12 will get a positive result when they’re actually negative. This is called a false positive.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOut of 1000 people with antibodies, 2 will test negative even though they’re positive.
