Medication can be provided to lessen outbreaks and symptoms for herpes and HIV patients have been able to live long, healthy lives with \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/conditions\/hiv-and-aids\/treatment\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003etreatments like antiretroviral drugs\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is important to check for STIs as, while some can be symptomless, long-term infection can lead to serious complications like infertility.
