These tablets are designed to work when placed under your lip. As you don't have to swallow them, they are particularly good if vomiting is one of your migraine symptoms.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eTaking Rizatriptan\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTake one tablet with water when your \u003ca href=\"\/blogs\/illnesses-and-chronic-health-advice\/hemiplegic-migraine\" target=\"_self\"\u003emigraine headache begins\u003c\/a\u003e. Taking this treatment with fizzy water can help it to work faster. If you experience an aura (visual disturbance), wait until this is over before taking Rizatriptan.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRizatriptan lyophilisate (Maxalt Melt) melts in the mouth so does not need to be taken with water.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf after two hours your migraine comes back, you can take another tablet.
